WITH NATIVE GERMAN AND STUDIES CARRIED OUT IN THE NETHERLANDS.

FUNCTIONS:
  • Being responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and submission of annual financial statements in accordance with Dutch Accounting Standards and the Dutch Civil Code for various Dutch legal entities.
  • Close monthly, quarterly and annual activities for US GAAP and NL GAAP.
  • Be responsible for the preparation of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policy.
  • Being responsible for the annual statutory audit of the German entities and obtaining a clean approval of the annual accounts by our Deloitte auditor.
  • Have ongoing close cooperation internally with other departments for finance, payroll, tax, legal, business in the Netherlands, consolidation department at the US head office or other locations as required.
  • Review and advise on all important transactions correctly registered under the DAS requirements, preparing and executing all the necessary legal adjustments.
  • Be assigned and/or support other legal entities managed by the accounting technical team of the North Continent.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in accounting or financial administration.
  • Working knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and the Dutch Civil Code.
  • Basic knowledge of Dutch reporting and tax structure.
  • Experience in another GAAP would also be an advantage (US GAAP, IFRS, Others..)
  • Experience in preparing annual financial statements under the DAS is desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a large multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

A stable position is offered in offices in Barcelona, with 3 days of teleworking and 2 face-to-face days. Salary according to agreement and supplement for teleworking, social benefits and possibility of reconciliation and promotion.
