TEAMBPLUS IS LOOKING FOR A COMPANY SPECIALIZING IN THE MANUFACTURE OF HIGH QUALITY, PRECISION METAL PARTS, COMPONENTS AND ASSEMBLY.

Services range from design to production, using processes such as Punching, Laser Cutting, Bending, Curving, Rolling, Welding, Finishing and Treatments.

Vacant Position: FOLDER.

Location : GRANOLLERS.

Reports to : Factory Director.

Hours: Monday to Friday (2pm to 10pm or 6am to 2pm).

Description and Functions :

MISSION: Operate the machine to bend, shape and cut various metal materials.

Know how to use and handle the shear and laser cutting machine to cut sheet metal.

Ensure product quality and maintain a safe working environment.

Operate press brake machinery to improve productivity and safety by adjusting settings for precise and safe metal bending.

Functions:

• Safety Operation: Observe safety protocols and operating regulations and properly use personal protective equipment, such as goggles, gloves, etc. Thoroughly check the machine and the surrounding environment to ensure there are no safety risks. Always remain alert during operation. It is strictly prohibited to operate in violation of regulations or to leave the workplace.
• Workpiece Preparation: Prepare the sheets, tubes, and other parts to be processed according to the processing drawings and manufacturing process requirements. Check whether the size, material, and surface quality of the workpiece meet the requirements and perform preprocessing if necessary. Arrange and stack the workpieces reasonably to facilitate rapid and accurate loading and unloading.
• Tool Preparation Select the appropriate bending tooling (punch and die) based on the bending process requirements. Carefully check whether the tooling shape, size, clearance, etc. meet the requirements to ensure there is no wear or defects. Properly install and adjust the various tooling to ensure their firmness and reliability, and calibrate them if necessary.
• Machine tuning and adjustment

Master the operation of the various control panels and buttons on the press brakes and correctly select processing programs or enter processing parameters.

• Bending Operation: Position the workpiece correctly so that it is precisely aligned with the tooling, keeping the workpiece smooth and symmetrical. Start the press brake and observe the bending process to ensure the workpiece is tensioned smoothly and the bend line is positioned accurately. Adjust parameters such as pressure and speed as needed to control the bend angle and quality. Remove the bent workpiece in a timely manner and check whether its size, angle, surface quality, etc. are qualified.
• Quality Inspection and Maintenance: Use measuring tools such as vernier calipers, angle rulers, etc., to randomly check the key dimensions and angles of bent parts. Inspect the surface of the bent part for scratches, gouges, cracks, and other defects. If substandard products are detected, isolate them in a timely manner, analyze the reasons, and adjust process parameters or report their processing.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Specialty Training.
• Knowledge of folding, dimensions and laser.
• A minimum of 5 years as a Folder in an automotive sector company is desirable.
• Languages: Spanish / Advanced Catalan.
