TEAM PLUS SELECTION: OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

TEAMBPLUS is looking for a meat industry company located in the Osona region specializing in pork processing.

Vacancy : OPERATIONS DIRECTOR.

Location : Manlleu.

Opening hours : Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Description and Functions :

Comprehensive management of the production chain, from the receipt of raw materials to the final product.

Key functions:

• Production Management: Oversee customer orders and requests. Prepare carcasses, cut and package, ensuring that deadlines and standards are met, focusing on cost and process optimization within the food industry.
• Food Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with health regulations and hygiene in handling by aligning the Quality area for proper functioning.
• Energy Efficiency and Waste: Manage and promote the implementation of plans for minimizing, recycling waste and reducing energy consumption.
• Personnel Coordination: Manage people and work teams in the production plant.
• Supplier Management: Supervise and control the receipt of raw materials and auxiliary materials.

Requirements:

• University education in economics, business administration, engineering specializing in the meat sector.
• Knowledge of ISO22000, SAE, Jalal, 9001 and 14001 standards is valuable.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Operations Management and/or CEO position.
• Knowledge and handling of computer tools and ERP.
• Languages: Catalan, Spanish and advanced English.
• Residence in the Osona region.
• Driver's license.
