COOPERATION AND COMPETITION

Team Essence versus Cooperation and Competition

23/03/2022

Speaking of cooperation and competition often considered antonyms, and overvaluing one term (Cooperation) versus another (Competition)?

Being competitive and cooperative should be part of the same process of personal maturation and adaptation to the environment.

Both concepts are very good and suitable to be valued, worked on and promoted in our day to day. Both in personal and professional fields, taking them into consideration and applying them can be a very good experience.

Through cooperation we join forces with each other and achieve a very good, adaptable and strong result in most cases. Competition, on the other hand, creates alertness and "guard" in the face of what we have in front of us. Likewise, competing forces us to self-observe, value ourselves, rethink changes and/or modifications many times and thereby rise to the occasion.

If we could rate ourselves on a scale from 1 to 10…to what degree do we work on competition and cooperation….which would be the one with the highest score? Do we work correctly and with all our possibilities the competition? And the cooperation in the work and with our team?

Observing and knowing will help us get the most out of the projects, the people who are involved, as well as the subsequent benefit of their results.
In the Teambplus Experiential group dynamics, these concepts are put to the test in each participant, group and team, experiencing them in the first person in order to deepen personal learning and be able to properly apply it to their job with direct benefit and positive impact on the organization. .
